You can also cycle from Vilnius. Please note that parts of the route follow main roads or roadsides. A popular cycling route (about 40 km) can be found here. For a shorter journey, you can take a train from Vilnius to Lentvaris and cycle from there to Trakai (16.3 km).

Travelling by private or rental car is also possible. In addition to the usual car rental companies, several car-sharing platforms operate in Lithuania, including CityBee, Spark, and Bolt. Please note that these services do not operate within Trakai itself, so you may not be able to pick up or return a vehicle in the city.
